City Blues
City Blues explores the emotions of distance, loneliness, and uncertainty that often surface while growing up. The series reflects the experience of coming of age in an environment driven by growth, productivity, and industrial progress — a world in which one does not quite fit.
Through the color blue, the work captures the quiet feeling of being caught between places: no longer who you were, not yet sure who you are becoming.

Forget Me Not is about my best friend and her illness, ME/CFS. It brings together my memories of her before the illness, in contrast to how the illness now takes over her life.
